Commercial Initiatives for Partner Success – Breakaway 1=5

Our partners can now take advantage of multiple enhancements to our award-winning NextWave Partner Program that help enhance partner profitability, enable partner differentiation, expand partner opportunities, and empower success. In the first installment of our Breakaway 1=5 series, I unveiled our new program framework and expanded upon our five paths. In addition to the updated framework, there are five commercial initiatives that will allow us to break away from the competition by providing our partners with a blueprint for success.

P2P (Partner 2 Partner) + New P2P Staycation Promotion

Commercial is the sweet spot for managed services, which is why we have kicked off our P2P MSSP Initiative in North America with ON2IT, Critical Start and SecureDynamics. These three authorized P2P MSSP partners will give our NextWave Solution Provider partners access to managed service offerings across our entire product portfolio.

We also recently launched Staycation, a new incentive for eligible NextWave Solution Provider partners. From now until the end of the year (December 31, 2023), partners can submit a P2P MSSP deal registered opportunity and earn points with an approved quote. Drive P2P MSSP deals, earn prizes, rewards and incentives.

Expand Automatic Deal Reg Approval

Last year we automated the deal registration process for select commercial opportunities. This automation has had such a positive impact that we are expanding to more eligible deals, including Enterprise customers. As we continue to focus on the commercial market, we’re making it easier to do business with us and removing friction from our sales process.

Distribution Stocking Program

Scale is essential to success in the commercial market. Effective immediately, we are scaling inventory management and stocking capabilities with our distributors to include robust business processes and controls. This model leverages system automation. It provides inventory visibility and financial transparency while maintaining the operational efficiencies needed to scale our business successfully.

ASC Expansion

Local language support is paramount to our success in the commercial market. Our mission is to address this need by empowering our support partners through quality training, clear business metrics, meaningful requirements and valuable incentives. We are developing best-in-breed, partner-led support programs that allow partners to provide exceptional technical support services to the commercial market.

Partner Sales Representative Promotions

Expanding our customer reach together with our partners is another key factor in the commercial market. Our latest global sales incentives reward representatives for driving net-new sales opportunities in 2023:

Cortex Competitive Crush – Partner sales representatives and system engineers will be rewarded for eligible Cortex deals when customers replace a competitive endpoint security solution with Cortex XDR.
SASE Sales Accelerate – Sell more SASE to earn rebates and rewards. SASE-specialized partners can earn a rebate boost of up to 10%, and non-specialized partners can earn a 5% rebate. This incentive also rewards the individual partner sales and technical teams driving more SASE.
Prisma Cloud Unleashed – Earn up to $2,500 per eligible Prisma Cloud deal with a net-new customer.
Bon Voyage Partner Pipeline Incentive – Earn points for eligible, deal-registered, closed-won opportunities, and increase your chances to win a luxury trip.
